10:11 AM ► Do you know that there's still a chance for you; Cause there's a spark in you.

my first and last year of
Combined Training Camp (
13th till the 16th December).
there are a few things that never failed to amaze me throughout.
;)

the huge and stable gateway built on land and not on soil.
:)

the LARGE performance stage and the awesome performances during
Camp Night.
p/s: pictures of the performances not available as i was the emcee for the night.
sorry.
:/

the delicious burger named '
Jingo'.
now this is new.
xP

the amount of cuts the whole camp gave me for lending a hand.
i ain't complaining instead i'm happy about that.
;P
not like i purposely cut myself.
lol.

the ships that they hand-made.
:D
the reason they're called
sea-scouts.
now this is cool.
the exterior is actually the crust but the interior's that count.

the teamwork amongst the scouts no matter who, when, where or why, as long as the job is done.
:))

and despite all those hardwork, they still managed to smile.
without any forceful ones.
;D

the unity of the members in one patrol despite the differences.

the funny things that the scouts do indirectly never failed to put the smile back on your face.
xD
especially mine.
:]
now that's all over, i have never felt closer to anyone else before.this time with the members.i apologize to the excos first as i have spent more time with the participants instead of you.heh.but we got along in the middle.:)that's what matters most.and now for you people, you may wonder why is the post about my first year of CTC much longer compared to the 4th year of Traplex.i'll tell you why.i have been spending much more time with the CTC people compared to the Traplex one.so it's like a year of CTC ALMOST equivalent to 4 years of Traplex for me.even some people say it's not fair that i shed more tears during memorable night.haha.but to me it's not about the camp itself.it's the experience we're talking about.and the people we meet.i've gotten myself a HUGE family after joining Guides/ Rangers.i will never ever forget those memories it has brought me.like they say, you'll never know the feeling of something gone till it happens right in front of you.
so people, grab hold of the chances you've gotten and live with them.you'll never know how much it's worth.;)keep in touch alright?
p/s: i want to say thank you to the excos (TeikMin, Chong, Alvin, Chai, Ming Li, Jia Sin, Wendy, Lushi, Yi Hwee and etc.) for being real patient with me and my complaints; the members of Exoria patrol: WeiSheng, Ryan, ZhiHoong, Nachu, Liwen, Celia, Durga, Veronica (especially the scouts, you know you people have helped A LOT for me. xP) for tolerating me, new people i've met like Heymen, Wayne, Boo Yen and etc. a very big thank you for making my experience in CTC an unforgettable one.
you've made my life complete.♥
